Security Suite Software

The perils of computer use have changed significantly since the term computer virus was coined in 1983. Today's threats range beyond simple viruses to Internet-born worms, Trojan horses, and spyware to name a few. So many people still use the internet without even having a second thought about the dangers of the internet. Viruses, hackers and spyware are just a few of the serious threats to not only your computer, but your personal data and photos. Believe us when we say, it is far cheaper to purchase a good set of security software than to pay out for an IT Engineer to come and sort it out for you. Not only could you lose your personal documents and photos, but it could cost you alot of money to get it fixed and back to normal.

There are free security products available like Microsofts firewall available in Windows XP Service Pack2, or Zonealarm firewall but these do not give you complete control over their use and can cause conflicts with other programs. Don't always presume that if something is free it is good, especially if it is from a vendor you do not recognise.

Do i need a bundled product?

If you have no security products like antivirus or a good firewall on your system then it would be a good idea to purchase a bundled product as it will be fairly straight forward to install, very useful for those of you who are new to computers and security software. With products from the same company it means that the software should install on your system seamlessly without any errors or conflicts. Most consumers think they are safe from online security threats but lack basic protections against viruses, spyware, hackers, and other internet menaces. Nearly two-thirds of consumers (63 per cent) have been the victim of a virus infection in the past, so be warned, if you are online without basic protection you are going to be in trouble at some point in time. Installing security products, and updating them on a regular basis will save you time and money in the long run. Security products are affordable for everyone, and still cheaper than getting an engineer in to fix any problems like, viruses, browser hijacks, trojans and any serious errors you may encounter without these products installed.
